Australian-made performance braid

From fibre to finished line

About Tasline

Tasline is a premium braided fishing line built for anglers who demand real performance. Originally developed in New Zealand with over 30 years of braiding expertise, production moved to Melbourne, Australia in 2020. We focus on using the highest-grade UHMWPE fibres, precise manufacturing processes, and a proprietary uncoated finish to create a smooth, strong and highly abrasion-resistant braid. Every spool is individually tested so you can fish with complete confidence.

THE TASLINE STORY

From New Zealand beginnings to Australian manufacturing: watch how Tasline braid is designed, braided, tested and spooled. This is the whole story, from raw fibre to the spool in your hands.

BORN IN NEW ZEALAND, PROVEN WORLDWIDE

Tasline Elite was designed and manufactured by Tasman Textile Technologies Ltd on the rugged coastlines of New Zealand, where anglers demand tackle that performs in the harshest conditions. Over 30 years of braiding experience, together with a proprietary after-braiding process, made Tasline Elite one of the best braided fishing lines available.

MANUFACTURED IN AUSTRALIA

In 2020, all of Tasline's equipment and processes moved to Melbourne, where manufacturing continues today. Every spool is precision-engineered on Herzog braiding machines to deliver a slimmer diameter, smoother performance and independently tested breaking strain, giving anglers more line on the reel and more confidence on the water.
