Tasline X12 Hollow Elite is a true 12-strand hollow braid, manufactured without coatings or additives for a smooth, supple finish. Made and tested in small batches, each spool is produced under tightly controlled conditions to maintain consistent diameter, strength and performance.

Designed specifically for trolling and jigging with game reels, X12 Hollow Elite provides efficient line lay and the advantages of true hollow construction. The hollow core allows knotless splicing for smooth transitions to monofilament and fluorocarbon leaders and topshots, while the 12-carrier construction provides excellent grip when splicing to thinner high-performance monofilaments. Compact loop splices also allow reliable loop-to-loop connections.

Unlike conventional round braid, Tasline X12 Hollow has a flatter profile. This helps the line pack neatly onto the reel and can reduce the tendency for the line to dig into itself under heavy load. Diameter measurements are taken at six points around the line to account for its profile accurately.

X12 Hollow Elite is designed primarily for game reels and is not recommended for spinning reels. Its flatter profile can contribute to significant line twist when used on spinning tackle.
